Welcome to Yuma Community Acupuncture! We are excited to be a part of a growing network of acupuncture clinics dedicated to serving our communities by providing high-quality, affordable acupuncture.

Our practice is modeled after modern clinics in China, where they treat in a communal setting. Each person receives an individualized treatment, and many people receive treatments each hour, making it more affordable for everyone.

We offer acupuncture on a sliding scale of $15-35 per visit (plus a one-time $10 paperwork fee for the first appointment) because we are committed to making it more affordable and accessible to those who need it.  The sliding scale separates the issues of money and treatment; we want you to come in often enough to actually get better and stay better!  We recognize that everyone’s situation is different, and our primary goal is to make acupuncture available to you as often as you need it, for as long as you need it.

No income verification is required… you simply decide what you can realistically afford! Also, remember it doesn’t have to be the same from week to week.  If you’re worried about not paying us enough, don’t!  If you want us to do well, the best thing you can do is tell your friends, family, and coworkers about us.

We look forward to having you join our community!

Community Acupuncture
The Community Acupuncture Network's (CAN) goal is to increase the affordability and accessibility of acupuncture by promoting the practice of offering acupuncture in group settings for a sliding scale...

What is the Community Acupuncture Movement?
Acupuncture has been a community-based medicine for most of its long history. In Asia, acupuncture has traditionally been practiced in groups rather than individual settings. For acupuncture to be most effective, patients need to receive it frequently and regularly -- far more frequently and regularly than most insurance plans will pay for. As acupuncture has moved towards the mainstream, it has been forced into a paradigm of one-on-one treatments and high prices, which has decreased not only patient access, but treatment efficiency. Yuma Community Acupuncture is part of a growing movement of clinics working to revolutionize healthcare and how acupuncture is practiced in the United States. Community acupuncture clinics return to a traditional group setting, while making fees affordable on a sliding scale -- comparable to a typical insurance co-pay.
